About us

Fiona Storton - Sunshine Coast

Not everything is black and white.

I started my obsession with art more than 20 years ago. I worked predominantly with pencils and charcoal, producing photo-realistic portraits and fine art. I still love working with these mediums but since moving to the Sunshine Coast 12 years ago, I have been inspired by the beautiful turquoise waters of the Queensland beaches and the textures and tones of the rugged Hinterland. I now incorporate a lot more colour into my artwork using acrylic paints and fluid artistry and enjoy the freedom of expressing myself in the abstract.

I am currently working on a collection of art called the Goddess Collection. This a unique series of inspirational artwork created to celebrate women. This series captures different qualities in each piece, from the soulful to the bodacious. The art speaks to the strong, authentic glorious Goddess in all of us to remind us that we truly rise by lifting each other.
