This piece is inspired by the beautiful Noosa River. A magical place to relax and watch as the sun disappears and darkness falls over the river. This painting captures the setting sun over the sand dunes and the turquoise hues of the water. Lose yourself and let the weight of the world fall away.

I use high pigment opaque and translucent acrylic paints mixed with pouring mediums and varnish to give a beautiful satin finish.
